The Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc. chairman is scheduled to make a special appearance Friday at the Natomas eatery.
Roland Dickey Sr. plans to give away 50 copies of his new book “Mr. Dickey’s Barbecue Cookbook” at the event to celebrate the restaurant which opened in April. Dickey is scheduled to be at the restaurant 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The restaurant and others in the greater Sacramento-area will serve $2 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches all day. The offer includes Dickey’s in Roseville, Elk Grove, Folsom, Jackson, Lodi, and Modesto.
Dickey’s franchisee Jared Katzenbarger said he plans to give three customers free barbecue for a year.
The restaurant is located at 4630 Natomas Blvd, in suite 130.
