Loyola Marymount University has announced that two students from Natomas have been named to the Dean’s List.
Students named to the Dean’s list have completed 15 semester hours at LMU and earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better. Additionally, a student must have completed all of his or her courses and never received an F in any course.
Diamond Garnett and Ryanne Haymer have made the Dean’s List for the third consecutive time, earning the honor for Fall 2012, Winter 2012 and Spring 2013.
While attending high school, both Garnett and Haymer served on the City of Sacramento Youth Commission together. Garnett graduated from Natomas Pacific Pathways Prep and Haymer from Natomas High School in 2011.
“Ryanne and Diamond are exceptional young ladies in every way, not just academically,” said Cicely Garnett. “What I absolutely love about them both is their humility, extremely humble young ladies. I have no doubt that whatever they put their hands to will prosper.”
Located between the Pacific Ocean and downtown Los Angeles, Loyola Marymount University is a comprehensive university offering 60 major programs, 36 master’s degrees and a doctoral degree in education from four colleges, two schools and Loyola Law School.
