“So with the really hot weather, l’ve come to a realization with our Natomas parks. We have no splash parks/spraygrounds. If we want to enjoy a splash park, we need to go to another neighborhood. The closest is Bridgewater Island in West Sac. Are there any plans to add any to our area?”

According to the City of Sacramento, there are actually four Natomas-area parks which currently have spray/splash/mister water features operating May 25 through Sept. 2, 2013. Those parks include:
- Gardenland Park – 310 Bowman Avenue
- Jefferson Park – 1990 Roma Court
- Magnolia Park – 251 Greg Thatch Circle
- Golden Poppy Park – 5765 Tres Pieza Drive
There are plans to include water features at the North Natomas Regional Park, Witter Ranch Park, Valley Oak Park, Kokomo Park, Cottonwood Park, Blackbird Park and Dogwood Park.
The Robert V. Doyle swimming pool is located at Northgate Park, 2825 Mendel Way. For more info click here.
Due to budge cuts, the Natomas High School pool is no longer open to the public for recreational swim, but used by for swim lessons and swim team practices.
