The new Elverta Road interchange on State Route 99 officially opened to traffic on Wednesday, October 23.
The interchange was completed ahead of schedule and marks the last signalized intersection on State Route 99 in Sacramento County.
The new overpass includes other public works upgrades: bicycle lanes and sidewalks, relocation of existing drainage canals, and drought tolerant landscaping.
