Art students at Natomas Pacific Pathways Prep High School will host an art exhibition 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today, Dec. 4 on campus.
This semester 75 students have taken an art class. The high schoolers have studied various artists, including Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Leonardo Da Vinci. Students have also had the chance to use various media such as watercolor, color pencil and charcoal for their compositions.
“The talent of the students is beyond incredible,” art teacher Heather Higgins said.
Art pieces created by students in both Art 1 and Art 2 classes will be showcased in the hallways of the front office and the courtroom today, Dec. 4.
The Muslim Student Association and Digital Media, two student-run clubs on campus, will also participate in the show. MSA members will do henna and Digital Media will play music.
The exhibition will be held at the NP3 campus, 3700 Del Paso Road, in Natomas. Admission is Free.
