A popular Filipino bakery chain is expanding to Natomas.
Starbread – known for its best-selling senorita bread – plans to open a new location in February.
The family-owned chain already touts bakeries on Mack Road in South Sacramento in Fairfield, Vallejo, San Pablo, Newark and Daly City.
The new bakery will be located in the North Natomas Place shopping center at 2101 Natomas Crossing Drive, Suite 150. It joins the ranks of Weng’s Oriental Fish Market and Fil-Am Bakery & Fast Food, Filipino food spots also located in Natomas.
“We’ve found there is a significant Filipino population (in Natomas),” said Katlyn Kline, who owns and will operate the bakery with Vincent Tiuseco.
Starbread will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on holidays. (916) 900-4788
