Natomas Cops Log – August 17, 2014

Incidents are from shifts starting August 16, 2014:

14-229818 (Burglary): 2900 block of Logansport Way at 11:28 p.m.
Officers received a complaint of a vacant house that was possibly broken into and subject may have still been inside. Officers arrived, saw a broken window and set up a perimeter. Suspects ultimately came out of the house and were detained. Both 18-year-old subjects were arrested for burglary. Mathew Morris, 18 was arrested for burglary and violation of probation. Joel Turner, 18, was arrested for burglary.

14-229951 (Shooting ): 3500 block of Truxel Rd at 1:14 a.m.
Officers responded to a call of a possible shooting in a parking lot. Officers arrived and discovered that a business had been struck by bullets as well as a parked vheilce. No injuries occurred and officers will be conducting follow-up.
