The Sacramento Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire at a Dollar Tree store in Natomas yesterday.
At about 1:32 p.m. firefighters were called to the 2000 Club Center Drive, Suite 200, on reports of a fire within one of the store aisles.
A functioning sprinkler system contained the blaze until firefighters could knock it down, firefighter PIO Roberto Padilla said.
The single-alarm fire was quickly put out and no injuries were reported.
Padilla added that the cause of the fire is being investigated.
Workers reportedly told customers the store would be closed for about two weeks to remove and restock fire- and water-damaged merchandise.
