Sacramento Police are investigating a shooting which left one man dead early this morning in Natomas.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired on the 100 block of Saginaw Circle at about 3:38 a.m. Tuesday.
Upon arrival, officers located a male adult inside of the residence with apparent fatal injuries.
Police said a possible altercation between the victim and an acquaintance resulted in the shooting. The suspect fled the scene after the incident, police said.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and are currently investigating the scene.
