A free session on emergency preparedness will be held tonight in Natomas.
A team from the Sacramento Police Dept. will lead “Neighborhood Emergency Training” 6:30 p.m. tonight, Feb. 24 at the South Natomas Community Center.
Information covered will include:
• Creating a family disaster plan
• Assembling home and portable disaster supply kits
• Sheltering in place
• Evacuation procedures
• Preparing for and responding to specific disasters
The first 10 attendees will receive a gift.
The center is located at 2901 Truxel Road in Natomas.
