15-057801 (Ringing Alarm): 2500 block of Arena Blvd at 0021 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a ringing alarm and determined that forced entry had been made to the business with property taken. A report was generated.
15-057369 (Vehicle Accident): E Commerce Way / Del Paso Rd at 1418 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a solo vehicle accident with minor injuries. The driver lost control of his car after speeding in the area and crashed. Three occupants sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle is being investigated for suspicion of DUI.
Incidents are from shifts starting March 2, 2015:
15-058039 (Disturbance): El Centro Rd / Bearcloud Ave at 0941 hours.
Officers responded to a neighborhood disturbance involving a possible assault and shots fired. Officers contacted all of the involved parties. The gun portion of the call revealed to be unfounded and one person was arrested for domestic violence that occurred the previous night.
15-058307 (Theft): 4700 block of Natomas Blvd at 1427 hours.
A suspect stole clothing from a department store and began to run out of the front of the business. As he was leaving an employee tried to stop him outside. The suspect physically assaulted the loss prevention officer and fled on foot. The security officer directed SPD to a nearby apartment complex, where the suspect was last seen fleeing. Officers were able to locate the suspect, with the assistance of witnesses in the area, who was detained by officers without incident.
Incidents are from shifts starting March 3, 2015:
15-059742 (Attempt Pick-Up): 2700 block of Screech Owl Way at 2316 hours.
Officers responded to the residence to attempt to locate a wanted subject. Upon arrival, the subject was located at the residence, but refused to open the door. Officers made entry to the location and the suspect was taken into custody. During a search of the residence, officers found ammunition. The suspect was arrested for resisting arrest, possession of prohibited items, and other related charges.
