All ages are invited to attend Free Comic Book Day set for the South Natomas Library 10 a.m. to noon tomorrow, May 2.
Attendees will receive a free comic book. Discounted comics will also be on hand. Proceeds from sales will benefit library programs and materials.
Similar events are also slated for 2 p.m. at the Sylvan Library in Citrus Heights and 6 p.m. at the Valley Hi-North Laguna Library in South Sacramento.
Free Comic Book Day celebrates and pays tribute to the art form.
The Friends of the South Natomas Library will host the event. The library is located at 2901 Truxel Road.
