A new Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches location is slated for Natomas Town Center.
The new eatery will be the first franchise for the sandwich chain in the greater Sacramento area.
According to a CBRE real estate publication, Jimmy John’s will located the space previously occupied by It’s A Grind which closed in September 2013.
Jimmy John’s is a franchised chain, specializing in delivery, founded by then-19-year-old Jimmy John Liautaud in 1983. The company is headquartered in Champaign, Illinois and currently reports more than 2,000 stores nationwide.
The chain boasts sandwiches made with fresh ingredients, including bread which is baked in-house.
The new Jimmy John’s will be located at 2731 Del Paso Road in Suite 100, next door to Hair Phases International.
Geez, how many sandwich shops can Natomas support?
I just hope they are better than Subway. Firehouse Subs is good, but Mr. Pickles is the best. Let’s see how JJ compares!

Love Jimmy John’s! Our “go to” sub place back in the midwest. Very happy to see it come to Natomas. Delivery is freaky fast!
For a very long time, my husband has been telling me to try Jimmy John’s and now they are finally in the neighborhood…
So, I decided to give it a try and just had my first Jimmy John’s and I love it! Their bread makes the sandwich and the interior design is icing on the cake! This is now a go to sandwich place for me and my family. :)
Cool…I live in Midtown, so this will be great. Had my first taste in Renton, WA. I love their sandwiches.
