Natomas Cops Log – July 13, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting July 13, 2015:

15-198726 (Ringing Alarm): 3700 block of Truxel Rd at 0058 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a ringing alarm. Upon arrival, officers observed that forced entry had been made to the business with items taken. A report was generated and follow-up was conducted.

15-198754 (Domestic Violence): 3300 block of Smoke Tree Dr at 0202 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of domestic violence and the sounds of a possible struggle. Officers made entry into the apartment to check the welfare of the occupants and made contact with a woman who did not appeared injured and provided limited information. A report was generated and follow-up will be conducted.

15-199290 (Burglary): 5000 block of Bissett Way at 1809 hours.

Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary. The victim arrived and found that forced entry had been made to her home, but did not find property taken at the time. A report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting July 12, 2015:

15-197753 (Weapons Call): 4500 block of Truxel Rd at 0022 hour.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a weapons call. A security employee had been confronted by an unknown armed suspect near the apartment complex after hearing shots fired in the area. The suspect spoke with the employee briefly and then fired a shot from a handgun into the air just before fleeing in a vehicle. No injuries were reported and a report was generated.

15-197973 (Domestic Violence): 1800 block of Crossmill Way at 0846 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of domestic violence. The suspect reportedly assaulted his girlfriend and a family member of the victim. Officers arrived at the scene and detained the suspect. He was arrested for threats, child endangerment, and domestic violence.

Incidents are from shifts starting July 11, 2015:

15-197382 (Robbery): 3600 block of Northgate Blvd at 1856 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a robbery. Two suspects entered the business, displayed a knife, and then fled on foot from the area with property. Follow-up was conducted and a report was generated.

15-197584 (Reckless Driver): Peralta Ave / Northgate Blvd at 2213 hours.
An officer observed a vehicle driving recklessly in the area and conducted a stop. The driver was contacted and arrested for suspicion of DUI.
