The Sacramento Police Dept. seeks witnesses to a car versus bicycle hit-and-run accident yesterday in Natomas.
According to Lt. Charles Husted, the accident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on July 8 when a young child was riding his bike in the area of Zurlo Way and Bridgecross Drive.
The juvenile was hit by a vehicle and the driver of the vehicle then fled the area. The child required medical attention, but was not seriously injured, according to Husted.
The suspect vehicle was described as a silver four-door possibly driven by a white female adult.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident, or has information about the driver or vehicle, to call (916) 264-5471.
