Incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 11, 2015:
15-293236 (Shots Fired): 2900 block of Madelia Dr at 0134 hours.
Officers were working in the area when the heard the sound of gunfire with no injuries. Officers quickly located a man believed to be responsible for firing the shots, found a firearm in his possession, and he was detained. Officers determined that unknown suspects walked near the man’s residence, engaged him in brief dialog, fired shots from a handgun at the home, and then fled on foot prior to police arrival. The resident subsequently retrieved his own firearm and returned fire, missing the suspects. Follow-up was conducted, a report was generated, and no arrests have been made at this time.
15-293474 (Stolen Vehicle): W El Camino Ave / Truxel Rd at 1028 hours.
Officers attempted to stop a stolen car in the area, but the driver fled in the vehicle. Following a lengthy pursuit, the suspect came to a stop, hitting multiple parked cars, and he fled on foot. Responding officers established a perimeter and the man was later apprehended with the use of a K9. The suspect was treated at an area hospital and later booked into the county jail on several offenses.
15-293973 (Robbery) 300 block of Menard Cir at 2147 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a robbery. The victim had just arrived when he was confronted by an unknown man who displayed a handgun, took his property, and fled prior to police arrival.
15-293979 (Assault): 1700 block of Capital Park Dr at 2152 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of an assault. The victim confronted two unknown women outside of his home who began to damage his vehicle. A physical altercation ensued and one of the suspects assaulted the victim with a knife. During that time, the other woman entered a vehicle attempted to hit the victim. Both suspects fled prior to police arrival and follow-up was conducted. The victim sustained non-life threating injuries and was treated at an area hospital. A report was generated.
15-294041 (DUI): 3300 block of Zenobia Way at 2323 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a motorcycle riding erratically in the area. The driver was found and detained. He was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
Incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 10, 2015:
15-292897 (Stolen Vehicle): Truxel Rd / Arena Blvd at 2024 hours.
Officers stopped a stolen vehicle in the area and detained the occupants. The driver was arrested for vehicle theft and the passenger for an outstanding warrant.

15-291303 (Homicide): 1800 block of Club Center Dr at 0822 hours. Read More.
15-291591 (Assault): Morell Ct at 1514 hours.
Officers responded to the call of an assault. The victim was at home when a known subject returned to retrieve property. An argument ensued and the suspect assaulted the victim causing a non-life threatening injury. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect who was ultimately booked into the Sacramento County main jail.
15-291980 (Disturbance): 2800 block of Camarillo Dr at 2201 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a disturbance involving multiple subjects coming and going from a residence. Officers arrived on scene and contacted two male subjects. A probation search of the residence revealed narcotics. One male subject inside the residence was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Another male was arrested for possession of narcotics. A report was generated.
Incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 8, 2015:
15-290661 (Domestic Violence): River Pebble Ct at 1509 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a family disturbance. The victim was home when a family member armed with a firearm assaulted her. No injuries were reported. The suspect fled in a vehicle just as officers were arriving on scene. Officers stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver who was in possession of a firearm. The man was taken into custody without further incident.
15-290873 (Burglary): 900 block of Arundel Way at 1917 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a burglary. The victim returned home and discovered their home had been burglarized. A report was generated.
