Halal Fried Chicken is relocating from Rancho Cordova to Natomas.
The eatery is temporarily closed and planned to reopen in March at its new location in the Village at Sacramento Gateway shopping center. The eatery opened for business at 11 a.m. on Sept. 24, 2020.
Halal Fried Chicken will be located at t 3654 North Freeway Boulevard in Suite 325. It will occupy a 1,395 square foot space between Don Quixote Mexican Grill and Shalimar Restaurant.
Other nearby eateries include Beach Hut Deli, Chang’s Thai Restaurant, Falafel Corner, Vampire Penguin and Daikon Korean BBQ, which opened earlier this week.
According to Yelp reviews and posts on the restaurant’s Facebook page, popular menu items include the chicken strips, garlic fries and crispy chicken sandwich. The term “halal” refers to meat prepared as prescribed by Muslim law.
Halal Fried Chicken had been operating in Rancho Cordova Town Center. Its relocation was announced in late December 2019.
