Sacramento Police are investigating a shooting incident which took place late Friday night in Natomas.
At about 10:50 p.m. police received reports of someone shot on the 2200 block of La Casa Way.
According to police, a disturbance escalated into a shooting where one adult male sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the upper body. It was an isolated incident and not random, police said.
The victim was transported to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition, police said.
Police officers established a perimeter in the area near the home where the shooting took place and received air support to search the area for suspects.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
