Ten candidates have qualified to run for three seats on the Natomas Unified school board.
On Oct. 22, candidates Christopher Alvarez, Ericka Harden, Dr. Sue Heredia, Mariana Corona Sabeniano, Sumiti Mehta and Scott Dosick participated in a second online forum answering questions from The Natomas Buzz readers.
(Candidates Monica Barrios and Micah Grant had confirmed their participation in the forum in August, but communicated earlier in the week that they would not be able to participate.)
In addition to two candidate forums held Sept. 24 and Oct. 22 hosted by The Natomas Buzz, some candidates also participated in forums hosted by Lights of Tomorrow on Sept. 25, Natomas Black United Parents on Sept. 30, Inderkum High broadcast media students on Oct. 5, and by students from Natomas Charter, Westlake Charter and Natomas Pacific Pathways Prep on Oct. 20.
