New cases of COVID-19 among those who reside in Natomas zip codes dropped again last week , according to data released today by Sacramento County Public Health officials.
Between March 15 and March 22, new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Natomas numbered 67 — an overall decline of 9% from 74 cases the previous reporting period and the lowest number of new cases since Oct. 26, 2020.
According to the data released March 22, there were 28 new cases in zip code 95835 last week, a 17% increase from the week prior.
In zip code 95833, 22 new cases were reported, an 8% drop, and zip code 95834 logged 17 new cases, a 35% decrease.*
Sacramento County last week moved to the state’s red, or substantial tier, as defined by the Blueprint for a Safer Economy which allowed businesses such as restaurants and gyms to resume indoor operations with modifications.
