Sutter Medical Foundation will open the doors to patients at its new care center in Natomas on Monday.
Thirteen family medicine clinicians and staff have relocated to 2951 Benefit Way. Sutter Medical Plaza in Natomas had operated from 2210 Del Paso Road for more than 15 years.
The care center’s new location is about a mile and a half from the old care center and closer to the Interstate 5 and Del Paso interchange. Effective March 29, all medical services, including lab services, will be at the new site.
The clinic is now located in the Natomas Pointe Plaza business complex, referred to for many years as “Stonehenge” during the real estate downturn and subsequent building moratorium.
Construction plans for the Sutter facility were filed with the city in February 2020. Natomas Charter School’s PACT Academy also opened its new campus in the same complex during the pandemic.
The new 16,828 square-foot Sutter Medical Plaza Natomas location features 26 exam rooms, three large procedure rooms as well as lab services. The space also allows for an additional 1,500 square feet which can be used as needed for the clinic’s growth.
A dermatology practice is slated to join the family medicine providers in April, according to a spokesperson for Sutter.
Sutter also operates a walk-in care clinic nearby at 2860 Del Paso Road in Suite 100.
