The new North Natomas Community Center is now accepting rental reservations.
According to posts on social media by the city’s Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment Division, the brand-new 15,000 square foot facility will be available to rent for events beginning April 1. Fees to rent the ballroom start at $250 per hour with a four-hour minimum rental.
The North Natomas Community Center is a new city event space located at 2601 New Market Drive, situated on the southwest corner of the North Natomas Regional Park. The facility features a main ballroom, warming kitchen and private dressing room.
Large windows overlook the adjacent aquatics complex which consists of a 50-meter Olympic-size competition pool, shaded bleachers, a 25-meter recreation pool, a zero-entry activity pool with a children’s water park, splash pad and water slides. The center is currently closed to the public and is not open for tours or viewings.
A patio with seating areas and a fire pit is located between the community center and aquatics complex.
While an opening date for the North Natomas Aquatics Complex has not yet been set, it is anticipated that Inderkum High School swim team could start using the pool in March.
An official opening date for the aquatics complex is expected to be announced soon, according to the Sacramento City Council District 1 office.
