“There are antenna like things that are being attached to traffic lights. They look like wifi network antennas. There is one on the intersection of Club Center and Danbrook/Regency Park Circle near the fire station. Anyone know what’s up?”

Answers Sarah Novo, Director of Constituent Affairs for Councilmember Angelique Ashby, District One:
“According to the manager of the street light maintenance department; these devices are repeaters for water meters that the City of Sacramento’s Department of Utilities has installed. PG&E also has installed a few to read their smart meters.”
Hopefully, The City is charging PG&E rent for the space. Every penny helps.
