Natomas Cops Log – September 2, 2014

Incidents are from shifts starting Sept. 1, 2014:

14-246310 (Robbery): W El Camino Ave / Stonecreek Dr at 7:46 p.m
Officers responded to the area regarding a robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been approached from behind by a black male adult, 20’s, who was known to the victim. The suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and took her property. The suspect fled the area on foot. An investigation is on-going.

14-246332 (Assault): 2800 block of Candido Dr at 8:16 p.m.
Officers responded to an area residence regarding an assault. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had gotten into an argument with the suspect who was known to her. The suspect struck the victim with a blunt object and then fled the scene in a vehicle. The victim sustained a non life-threatening injury. An investigation is on-going.

14-245823 (Burglary): 3600 block of N Freeway Blvd at 10:11 a.m.
Officers responded to the area regarding a burglary. Upon arrival, officers learned that the suspect had stolen property from the businesses and was known to one of the victim businesses. Officers contacted the suspect in the parking lot, arrested him, and returned stolen property back to the victims. The suspect was arrested for burglary and theft. An investigation is on-going.
