14-357897 (Welfare Check): 3300 block of Smoke Tree Dr at 10:31 p.m.
Officers responded to the location regarding a welfare check of a child that was found wandering in the area. Officers quickly identified an apartment where the child lived and attempted to make contact with the occupants with no response. Upon entering the residence, another child was found sleeping inside unattended. Officers eventually made contact with a responsible adult who reportedly left the children in the care of another family member. The subject was arrested for child endangerment and CPS responded for an investigation.

14-356997 (Attempt Burglary): 2400 block of Mabry Dr at 9:27 p.m.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of an attempted burglary, and upon arrival, discovered that a door had been forced open, but no entry made. Officers contacted two juveniles in the area who initially fled, but were quickly detained. Officers determined that the juveniles were not related to the incident and they were released. A report was generated.

14-356255 (Vehicle Stop): Natomas Central Dr / Gozo Island Ave at 11:50 p.m.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the area, but the driver fled. After a short pursuit, he was detained and officers found drugs in his possession. The driver was arrested for evading and possession of drugs.
14-355933 (Stolen Vehicle): 800 block of Barros Dr at 5:09 p.m.
An officer observed a subject walking away from a stolen vehicle in the area. The subject was arrested for vehicle theft and violation of probation.

14-355222 (Assault): 3700 block of Northgate Blvd at 5:48 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The suspect struck the victim, that was known to him, with a bottle. Minor injuries were reported.

14-354293 (Burglary): 4100 block of Innovator Dr at 12:03 p.m.
The victims came home to their townhouse and noticed the garage was open. One of the victims went upstairs to investigate and came upon the suspect going through their property. After a confrontation with the victim, the suspect fled on foot through the complex. A responding officer spotted the 21-year-old suspect nearby. The suspect was quickly taken into custody and eventually booked for burglary.
14-354766 (Suspicious Circumstances): 1100 block of Athena Ave at 12:04 a.m.
Officers responded to the area after they heard the sounds of shots being fired. They came upon a subject who admitted to firing his gun. The man was booked for reckless discharge of a firearm.
14-354821 (Burglary): 2300 block of Northgate Blvd at 1:28 a.m.
Officers and a K9 unit rushed to the area of a ringing burglary alarm. The suspect fled from officers over fences and was found hiding in a backyard. K9 was deployed and safely took the burglary suspect into custody.

14-353962 (Vandalism): 1900 block of Del Paso Rd at 11:19 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary with signs of forced entry to the closed business. It appears that no entry was actually made and no property was taken; the damage was most likely caused by vandals.

14-353132 (Vehicle Accident): 3300 block of Zenobia Way at 2:49 p.m.
Officers responded to the location regarding a solo vehicle accident with injuries and determined that the driver had been possibly driving at a high rate of speed in the area, lost control, and hit a fixed object. The driver sustained serious injuries, was transported to an area hospital for treatment, and was listed in stable condition. Alcohol was not indicted as a factor at this time.
14-353012 (Vehicle Stop): Natomas Blvd / N Bend Dr at 11:54 p.m.
Officers conducted a stop on a stolen vehicle in the area and made contact with two occupants. After a search, a handgun was located in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for crimes of theft and violation of probation. The passenger was arrested for weapons violations and violation of probation.
14-352833 (Missing Person Located): 3200 block of Truxel Rd at 6:56 p.m.
Officers responded to the residence regarding follow-up on a missing person who had been despondent. The subject was safely contacted at the residence and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

14-351777 (Missing Person): 3200 block of Truxel Rd at 5:09 p.m.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a missing person. Officers conducted follow-up and checked the area, but did not locate the subject. A report was generated.

14-351300 (Attempt Burglary): 4600 block of Blackrock Dr at 3:53 p.m.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of an attempted burglary. Upon arrival, officers observed damage to the front door with no sign of entry. A report was generated.
14-350738 (Assault): 100 block of Regency Park Cir at 6:14 p.m.
The victim and his son were driving in the area when a vehicle pulled up next to them at the intersection and a subject, possibly known to the son, fired shots from a handgun at the victims and then fled. Officers arrived on scene and determined that no one was injured. The victims provided limited information and a report was generated.

14-350051 (Burglary): 2600 block of Serenata Way at 11:49 p.m.
Officers responded to a burglary in progress. Unbeknown to the suspects, the homeowners were upstairs during the burglary and called police who rushed to the scene. The suspects had already fled the area with property and were unable to be located.

14-347834 (Robbery): 3600 block of Truxel Rd at 3:14 p.m.
Three suspects (pictured) forcefully took a 64-year-old victim’s shopping bag that contained several gift cards he had just purchased at a Home Depot. It is believed that the suspects were near the victim when he bought the gift cards and they followed the man out into the parking lot where they robbed him. The suspects are all described as black male adults in their late teens or early 20’s. They fled the scene in a blue GMC SUV (pictured). The gift cards were immediately rendered unusable and the victim may be able to have the cards reissued. Anyone with information pertaining to the identity of the three men are encouraged to call the Sacramento Police Department at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). 14-347657 (Assault): 1500 block of Waterwheel Dr at 12:11 p.m.
Officers responded to the residential area regarding an assault on a male victim. A known female subject got into an argument with the male victim. The female assaulted the male subject and was taken into custody by responding officers.

14-347460 (Vehicle Theft): 4900 block of Natomas Blvd at 3:49 p.m.
Officers responded to the residential area regarding a subject who had his car stolen after it was left running, unoccupied. Responding officers quickly arrived on scene, located the car which fled from police. After a short vehicle pursuit, both female suspects were taken into custody and the vehicle was returned to the owner.

14-346269 (Burglary): 2800 block of Grasslands Dr at 4:54 p.m.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary and made contact with the victim who advised that his house had been burglarized with property taken. A report was generated and follow-up will be conducted.

14-344950 (Ringing Alarm): 4100 block of Duckhorn Dr at 12:26 a.m.
Officers responded to the location regarding a ringing alarm and attempted to make contact with a subject who they discovered upon arrival. The subject immediately fled from officers on foot and hid in the area. Officers quickly set up a perimeter and found the subject and a vehicle that he had driven. The suspect was ultimately arrested for burglary, attempted vehicle theft, and possession of burglary tools.
14-344951 (Missing Person): 100 block of Mahonia Cir at 12:28 a.m.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a missing person. Officers checked the area for the subject, but were not able to find him. A report was generated.

14-343575 (Robbery): 4700 block of Natomas Blvd at 4:26 p.m.
Two suspects selected merchandise at an area department store, concealed the items and walked out the fire exit door to their awaiting parked vehicle. When the suspects were confronted by an LPO, both suspects assaulted the LPO and left in their vehicle. An investigation is underway.

14-342277 (Burglary): 3300 block of Northgate Blvd at 4:01 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary to a closed business. Forced entry was discovered and cash appeared to have been stolen per the responsible party. A burglary report was generated.

14-341156 (Burglary): 3500 block of Callison Dr at 10:13 p.m.
Officers responded to reports a homeowner who fired a shot at a subject who broke into his front door. The suspect was not struck and immediately fled to an awaiting vehicle. Officers quickly responded to the area, but did not locate the suspects.
14-341217 (Suspicious Vehicle): Westlake Pkwy / Callison Dr at 11:54 p.m.
Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle in the area and made contact with the occupants. During a search, a handgun was found in the vehicle and the driver was detained. He was later cited and released for possession of the handgun.
14-341224 (Robbery): 3000 block of Lemitar Way at 12:02 a.m.
The victims were walking in the area when they were approached by a male adult who displayed a handgun, took the victim’s property, and fled the area on foot. A report was generated.

14-340273 (Arrest): 2800 block of Stonecreek Dr at 10:53 p.m.
Officers were handling an unrelated call for service when they observed a vehicle drive past their location in a reckless manner. Officers contacted the car and discovered a stolen handgun under the driver’s seat. The driver was booked for multiple weapons charges and violation of his probation.

14-339042 (Arrest): 3200 block of Northstead Dr at 3:48 p.m.
The 14-year-old victim was riding his bicycle near the above location when he was confronted by suspect his same age who demanded his bike. The juvenile suspect physically assaulted the victim and a friend of the victim stepped in to help stop the robbery. Ultimately, the suspect and several subjects he was with fled without obtaining the bicycle. A few minutes later, Officers located the suspect and detained him without incident. The suspect was booked into juvenile hall.

14-337892 (Vehicle Accident): San Juan Rd / Truxel Rd at 12:32 p.m.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a multi-car vehicle collision with serious injuries. Officers determined that a male in his 40s had been driving recklessly when he struck a parked car in the area, but continued without stopping, ultimately striking multiple additional vehicles. Officers made contact with all parties involved in the collision and fire personnel responded to the scene, subsequently transporting two adults to an area hospital to be treated for injuries. The driver who originally caused the collision is also being treated at an area hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries and is being investigated for suspicion of DUI.
14-338020 (Vehicle Theft): Truxel Rd / Gateway Park Blvd at 3:12 p.m.
Officers located a stolen vehicle being driven in the area. The driver was detained and booked without incident.
14-338421 (Pursuit): Del Paso Rd / E Commerce Way at 10:22 p.m.
Officers noticed a vehicle driving reckless in the area. A short pursuit ensued but was cancelled due to unsafe traffic conditions. A police helicopter was overhead and spotted the vehicle pull into the shopping center at Truxel Road and I-80. Ground units were able to take the driver into custody without incident for evading as he exited his vehicle.

14-337333 (Burglary): 300 block of Eastbrook Way at 6:36 p.m.
Officers responded to a burglary in progress to find the home had been broken into and items removed. A report was generated regarding the stolen property.
14-337577 (Vehicle Accident): I 80 Eb / Truxel Rd at 12:27 a.m.
Officers responded to a single vehicle accident into a traffic control box, knocking out the traffic lights in the above intersection. A DUI investigation was completed and Driving While Intoxicated is believed to be a factor.

14-334006 (Burglary): 2300 block of Northgate Blvd at 9:53 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Suspects entered the premises through the front door and removed cigarettes. Suspects are still outstanding.
14-334307 (Burglary): 3000 block of Mill Oak Way at 4:24 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a subject breaking into a home. Officers arrived on scene and observed the suspect exiting the house. The suspect fled on foot and officers established a perimeter. The man was taken into custody several hours later and booked into jail for burglary and possession of stolen property.

14-332723 (Robbery): 2000 block of San Juan Rd at 6:59 p.m.
The victim was walking in the area when he was approached by an unknown male adult who asked to use his phone. The suspect assaulted the victim, took the phone, and fled on foot. A report was generated.

Officers responded to a report of a missing person. The 14-year-old possibly ran away with his girlfriend. A report was generated.
