The community is invited to get to know the police officers who patrol the Natomas area during an informal “Cops and Coffee” event set for Friday.
The Sacramento Police Department will host the gathering 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 27 at Maestro Cafe in Natomas.
The event is meant to help police provide a personal level of service to those who live and work in the community.
The public is invited to join their neighbors and police officers for coffee. Participants will have a chance to ask questions and voice concerns.
Several Natomas-area residents have attended informal Community Call Box gatherings with police officers in Natomas.
Maestro Cafe is located at 2069 Arena Boulevard, in Suite 130, near Truxel Road.
