Natomas is all abloom thanks to recent rains and warm temperatures.
Springlike conditions have wildflowers popping up all over the neighborhood including California poppies, lupine and the wild mustard pictured here.
This photograph was taken right outside of the Westlake neighborhood near El Centro and Del Paso roads.
Area residents can often be seen harvesting this wild flower which is used in cooking.
