The first 100 people through the doors of the brand-new Corner Bakery Cafe in Natomas this morning will receive free coffee for a year.
The promotion kicks off the official opening of the fast-casual restaurant which officially opens its doors 7 a.m. March 30 at 2281 Del Paso Road, Suite 150, in the Park Place Shopping Center.
The first 100 guests through the doors receive a commemorative Corner Bakery Cafe travel mug with free daily refills of hand-roasted coffee for one year.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 12 p.m. today with the Natomas Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Pro Temp Angelique Ashby and the Sacramento Kings.
Dozens of area residents already previewed Natomas’ newest eatery during a soft opening event held Saturday for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Corner Bakery Cafe serves made-to-order food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu ranges from hot breakfast and grilled panini to handcrafted salads, signature sandwiches, to sweets and more.
The new Natomas restaurant decor features murals depicting Sacramento landmarks on the wall. Free WiFi is available and brewed coffee is “bottomless.”
The new Corner Bakery Cafe marks the first location in Sacramento and is operated by Harsh and Sunny Ghai of East Bay Restaurants, Inc., who also operate nearly 70 fast-food franchises. The group plans to open seven additional Corner Bakery Cafe locations in the Sacramento area over the next four years.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Corner Bakery Cafe’s fresh, flavorful food to the Sacramento community,” said Harsh Ghai, chief operating officer of East Bay Restaurants. “Corner Bakery Cafe serves the kind of food that Sacramento residents will crave after they try it.”
