United Food and Commercial Workers union members picket in front of the Raley’s store on Natomas Boulevard after three days of labor talks fail to result in an agreement between the grocery chain and employees.
Picketers this morning told shoppers to patronize Safeway, reportedly approaching people as they left their vehicles in the parking lot.
One NATOMAS BUZZ reader said picketers early this morning told him they didn’t work at the store and the store manager said at the time only two workers had walked out.
Within hours Natomas store workers had joined the picket line, as seen here.
