Natomas Cops Log – Sept. 21, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting Sept. 20, 2015:

15-272841 (Robbery): Natomas Blvd / New Hampshire Way at 2326 hours.
Officers responded to location regarding a report of a robbery. Officers determined that an intoxicated woman had assaulted a cab driver and attempted to take property from him. The suspect was arrested for an outstanding warrant and robbery.

Incidents are from shifts starting Sept. 19, 2015:

15-271626 (Robbery): 500 block of Greg Thatch Cir at 1904 hours.
A female victim was walking in the neighborhood when two subjects approached her from behind. One subject physically grabbed her and demanded her phone at gunpoint. The woman then threw her phone to the ground. The victim fell to the ground and sustained complaint of pain injuries and a robbery investigation is underway.

Incidents are from shifts starting Sept. 18, 2015:

15-270460 (Traffic Stop): 3700 block of Truxel Rd at 1714 hours.
Officers were patrolling in the area when they stopped a vehicle for an infraction violation. Upon contact with the driver, officers could smell marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed narcotics. The driver was booked into the Sacramento County jail for multiple charges.

15-270697 (Robbery): 3600 block of Northgate Blvd at 2113 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a robbery. The victim was walking in the above area when a vehicle pulled up next to him. The passenger of the vehicle approached the victim armed with a firearm, stole the victim’s property and assaulted him. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury. The passenger fled in a vehicle prior to officers arriving on scene. Officers checked the area for the vehicle, but were unable to locate it. The investigation is ongoing.
