Natomas Cops Log – Oct. 17, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 16, 2015:

15-298031 (Assault): 1600 block of W. El Camino at 0158 hours.
Officers responded to the report of an assault. The victim was in the area when an unknown subject assaulted him with a blunt object. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported to an area hospital. A report was generated.


15-298692 (Stolen Vehicle): Northgate Blvd / San Juan Rd at 1804 hours.
Officers were patrolling in the above area when they observed a possible stolen vehicle. The driver was contacted and it was confirmed the vehicle was stolen. The driver was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.


15-298801 (Robbery): 3100 block of Northgate Blvd at 2006 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a robbery. A 16-year-old male juvenile entered the business armed with what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money. The employee refused and the juvenile suspect fled on foot. Officers quickly arrived on scene and located the suspect and safely detained him. After further investigation, it was determined the handgun was a BB gun. The suspect was ultimately arrested for robbery and transported to juvenile hall.


15-298942 (Assault): 3200 block of Truxel Rd at 2155 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a subject fighting with security staff. No major injuries were reported. Officers arrived on scene and safely detained the man who was ultimately arrested for threats.

Incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 15, 2015:

15-297518 (Robbery): 300 block of Sutley Cir at 1449 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a robbery. The victim was in the area when an argument ensued with a subject. The subject assaulted the victim, stole his property and fled in a vehicle. Officers quickly arrived on scene and located the suspect who was detained. After further investigation, the suspect was booked into the Sacramento county main jail for robbery.
