Proposed utility rate changes will be the topic of a community meeting this Thursday, Jan. 14 in Natomas.
The City of Sacramento Department of Utilities is proposing a rate changes to community water, wastewater and storm drainage utilities to pay to replace aging pipelines and facilities which need repairs.
City Councilmember Jeff Harris is scheduled to host a community meeting to hear from South Natomas residents about the proposal.
The meeting will include a presentation from the Department of Utilities as well as a question and answer session where members of the community will have a chance to ask questions and express opinions about the proposed rate changes.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Stanford Settlement, 450 West El Camino Avenue.
