Applicants are being sought for internships in Councilmember Steve Hansen’s office at City Hall.
The District Four team plans to hire one to two unpaid interns to assist with projects in the community.
Interns will gain work experience and learn about policy making at the local level of government. Interns will work under the direction of the District Four chief of staff and have a chance to work on the following:
- Answer and respond to constituent calls
- Draft communications and media
- Research policy issues
- Maintain databases
- Assist with community events
Hansen represents District Four which includes the River Oaks neighborhoood in south Natomas as well as several other areas of Sacramento.
