An estimated 2,000 area residents attended the 8th annual Creekside Fair this past weekend in Natomas.
The event included vendors from the North Natomas Town Center, live music by Wild Wild West, free food, and the North Natomas Transportation Management Association’s Mobile Bike Doc which performed free bicycle repairs.
Children of all ages participated in a costume contest, had their faces painted and got to take home free pumpkins.
The District One Youth Advisory Committee and Parks Leadership Academy for Youth manned the event with help from more than a dozen community volunteers.
The Creekside Fair was hosted by Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby with Assemblyman Richard Pan, Lewis Planned Communities, Commerce Station, Homecoming at Creekside, Natomas Town Center Merchants and the Creekside Neighborhood Association.
