The City of Sacramento Department of Utilities is set to hold another in an ongoing series of free workshop on how customers can use water more wisely.
The 10 a.m. to noon on Sept. 26 session will review the updated Water Conservation Ordinance, which took effect June 12. The purpose of the workshop is to educate residents about the city code in an effort to limit confusion and violations of the ordinance which, ironically, the city has itself struggled to observe.
To reserve space in the workshop or request Spanish language translation, please call 311 or e-mail Julie Friedman. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
The workshop will take place at the City of Sacramento Water Conservation Office,
2260 Glen Ellen Circle.
Shouldn’t someone from the city’s parks department attend this workshop? I don’t think they know the rules.
