”Celebrate Natomas is a one of a kind event,” said Councilmember Tretheway. “It is for the community and by the community. From unique vendors to great performances and concerts, Celebrate Natomas delights the senses with the sights, sounds, and tastes that make Natomas a great community to live, work and play.”
This year’s festival will feature 30 performances on the community stage and five local bands on the concert stage. Over 180 local businesses and non-profits will have booths, and kids will be given a passport book to collect stamps from the booths that they can turn in for prizes at the end of the day.
The River Church will be back with their mega-hit Snow Slide, and this year’s festival will have a wide variety of food vendors reflecting the cuisine of Natomas. Once again the festival will conclude this year with a concert and fireworks show.
All are welcome. Entrance is free.
with it ending at 5pm, will the fireworks be during the daylight?
Actually the booths come down at 5 but the festivities continue and the fireworks are somewhere around 8pm – I am pretty sure.
