Candidates running for the Natomas Unified school board will face off tomorrow during the first candidate forum of the election season.
Nine of the 10 candidates on the November 2012 ballot are scheduled to participate in the forum hosted by the Natomas Park Homeowners Association’s parks and schools committee. The forum is set for 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow, Sept. 20 at The Club, 2101 Club Center Drive, in Natomas.
This event is open to the public.
Candidates scheduled to participate in tomorrow’s forum include HK Allen, Michael Bedrosian, Karen Bernal, Briza Trujillo Cardenas, Scott Dosick, Vina Guzman, Ryan Herche, Sue Heredia and Bruce Roberts. Candidate Joshua Baker did not respond to the committee’s invitation.
At the forum, participating candidates will each give a brief statement about themselves and be asked to answer and rebut questions by Natomas Park residents submitted beforehand to the committee. Issues to be covered will likely range from Natomas Unified School District finances to employee relations.
