* “Relay for Life” is a 24-hour, overnight event.
Why do I think the Creek Week clean-up asked us to be there at 9:00 am? Can you double check that time?
According to the Creekside neighborhood website at http://creeksideneighbors.blogspot.com :
Creekside Cleanup Day
will be
Sunday, April 26
at 1 p.m.
Meet at 2921 North Platte
Meet up with neighbors (everyone is invited) to help clean the creek area along Broadwater and the Regional Park in Creekside.
Bags, gloves and refreshments will be provided. Closed toe shoes, long pants and sunscreen are recommended.
Last year participants dropped wildflower and California Poppy seeds which have resulted in hillsides flushed with both.
This event is an official Creek Week collaboration and the neighborhood organizer is Sean Avalos. He will have other information for anyone interested in knowing more about other regional efforts or celebrations.
If you would like to speak with Sean, please feel free to email him at [email protected]. You can also contact Angelique Ashby at [email protected].
