An uptick in gang-related graffiti has been reported in the neighborhood west of Interstate 5. We took this picture near Witter Ranch Elementary School when scouting for a “Where In Natomas?” shot.

Kudos to our city’s 3-1-1 service, Facilities Maintenance Paint Shop, and graffiti abatement crews — they have been doing a stellar job in cleaning up the graffiti as fast as we can report it! The faster we report graffiti sightings, the faster it is removed and the less likely it is to return. Remember, folks — you can report graffiti 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: 3-1-1 (or 916/264-5011)!
More kudos are in order — we caught the Noel’s Graffiti Abatement crew out in force in Gateway West and Park View today (Sunday), wiping out much of what we reported this week!
