Between June 28 and July 6, new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Natomas zip codes 95833, 95834 and 95835 numbered 70, up from 57 cases logged for the June 21 to June 28 reporting period.

Countywide the number of new COVID-19 cases and hospitalization numbers have also seen an increase.
Sacramento County health officials are tracking a rise in variant cases, particularly the Alpha and Delta variants, however that data is not broken down by zip code.
The number of breakthrough cases among those individuals who have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 is also trending upward countywide. Again that data is not available by zip code.
The county is also not posting breakthrough cases by variant on its website.

Natomas is estimated to have a population of 110,000, according to data on the U.S. Census Bureau website.
