Athletic Director, Dennis Foster, reports that record numbers of students are participating in fall sports and that the teams are doing very well academically. Foster reminds the community that attending games encourages our athletes, and also that gate admissions collected go directly back into the sports program to help continue our success.
The varsity boys cross country team took 3rd place at the Wildfire Invite in
Girls Tennis, with a record 31 players, is having a great season. They began league play with a 3-1 record, scoring victories over
The Girls Golf Team is small but mighty. Though they have not had enough players this season to compete as a team, with the dedication of the players that they do have, they are well on our way to having at least one player representing Natomas in the post season. Currently Laura Canales is the standout player for the team and Jovanna Fernandez is improving every week.
Those three boys mentioned first – yeah, that’s my boy. The other two are his best friends. Honors program, church youth group, hard working and nice as pie.
But one of their moms can’t get married to the person of their choosing.
