Nearly 100 people were on hand for a premiere screening of “Preserving Our Present: Sacramento Teens Share Their Stories” last night, August 22 at the South Natomas Library.
The teen documentary project features video interviews, digital photos, and teen stories focused on the the history of the Gardenland/Northgate neighborhood. The project was a partnership between the Sacramento Public Library and The GreenHouse.
Sacramento Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby and Councilman Steve Cohn, District 3, were among those who attended the screening which was sponsored by Friends of the South Natomas Library.
