The Sacramento Business Journal is reporting the Natomas Meadows development is part of a recent land deal wherein Granite Bay Development Co. has purchased the stalled 100-acre subdivision from Pardee Homes.
Although details of the sale have not been released, inside sources say Granite Bay Development Co. paid about $25 million for the site — or 20 cents on the dollar.
Natomas Meadows was meant to be Pardee Homes’ debut in the Sacrament-area housing market and already spent about $600,000 an acre on the land and millions more on streets and utilities.
The project was mothballed last November.

The Bee article said that Granite Bay Dev. would hold it for a few years and try to resell it. We’ll see…
