Update thanks to a BUZZ reader: At approximately 5:45 Sunday afternoon (5/18), a fire was reported in the dumpster at the north end of the stadium field at Inderkum HS. SFD responded and extinguished the fire with no damage to the track, fence or grandstand. It appears, according to the fire investigator, to be a case of spontaneous combustion, possibly caused by the empty adhesive cans from the track installation discarded in the dumpster.
