The Inderkum High School varsity girls basketball team remains in first place in Tri-County Conference and is just one win away from automatically qualifying for the playoffs with a 62-27 home win over Woodland High School on Thursday night.
Sakara Brewer led the Lady Tigers (14-10 overall, 5-2 TCC) with 25 points.
The Natomas High School varsity girls team drops a road game to first place River Valley High School 61-33 in Yuba City. The Lady Nighthawks are one spot out of the playoffs in the first Sac Joaquin Section Division III power rankings released this week. Sitting at No. 17, Natomas (4-15, 3-4) will need to win at least two of the final three regular season games for a chance at the playoffs.
Halle Hamre led Natomas with 13 points and Hayley Polk 11 in the loss.
