The Sacramento Public Library is offering free craft-making programs at its Natomas branches to create unique and inexpensive gifts for the winter holiday season.
Thursday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m.: North Natomas branch, 4660 Via Ingoglia
Iris Folding (for teens): Learn paper folding techniques to make unique cards.
Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.: North Natomas branch, 4660 Via Ingoglia
Knitting and Crochet Circle (for adults): Bring your yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks and needlework projects. Share your skills and learn new tips and tricks from others in the group. All skill levels are welcome.
Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m.: South Natomas branch, 2901 Truxel Road
Jewelry Workshop (for teens and adults): Work with different jewelry-making materials each month; all craft supplies are provided. The program is sponsored by the Friends of South Natomas Library.
Thursday, Dec. 15 at 4 p.m.: North Natomas branch, 4660 Via Ingoglia
Holiday Crafts (for families): Join the library staff for holiday crafting fun.
