Natomas Pacific Pathways seniors may be on fall break now, but the Class of 2014 has been enjoying their last year of high school so far.
Students kicked off their senior year during a senior picnic held Aug. 31 at the Westlake Park. The day was spent eating and playing team building games, including a water balloon fight and a soccer game.
Later, that evening, several seniors met at Turtle Beach for the first-ever Senior Bonfire.
A few days later, on Sept. 3, Senior Sunrise took place at Sand Cove. Nearly 75 of the 93-member senior class attended the early-morning event which kicked off at 6 a.m. After watching the sunrise, most of the attendees ate breakfast together at IHOP.
Senior-year festivities will continue following the fall break.
