THE NATOMAS BUZZ | @natomasbuzz
School starts this morning for students at the Natomas Unified School District’s traditional campuses.
Parents turned out by the dozens yesterday to check 2011-12 class lists posted for the first time at 4 p.m. Monday. Lists showed primary grade classes loaded with as many as 35 students per teacher at some school sites.
School district officials don’t expect student placements to be final for at least a week while “warm body” counts are tallied and compared to the number of students who registered to attend Natomas Unified schools. Officials said it’s possible some students may be reassigned to different campuses as class sizes are balanced throughout the district.
